knocking down walls = new closet and one extra surprise

the master bedroom wall was knocked down to make room for my new closet. :)

remember that wall in the dining room with the faux wood panel? well....surprise, surprise! a window was found behind the panel!

we realized that the entire wall could not be removed and so we decided to go with a half wall which will help make the area feel open, but still separate the dining area from the living room.

The area you see here is what use to be the pantry and closet that leads to the hallway. I don't have a need for a pantry so i didn't see the purpose of that space. Although i had talked to the bf and my two cousins about removing the pantry and closet, my dad surprised me one day by asking the contractor to remove everything. i love how my dad and i are on the same page.
